NBSS Harbor Islands Social for New & Returning Students and Alumni
Monday, August 31
Students and alumni from all nine career training programs are invited to visit听Georges Island. Take the ferry, explore the island, and meet other students before training begins in September.
Tickets for students, alumni, faculty, and staff are free. Additional tickets for friends and family .
- 9:30 am: Meet at听听
- 10:00 am: Ferry departs for听
- Bring your own lunch plus plenty of water, sunscreen, and a hat
- Take the ferry back at 1:30 or 3:30 pm(arrives in Boston at 2:00 or 4:00 pm)
Please Note
- Tickets for students, alumni, faculty, and staff are free. Additional tickets for friends and family .
- The park maintains a “carry-in, carry-out policy.鈥 There is no trash disposal in the park. Please bring a bag with you to collect any trash. Anything you bring to the island must leave with you.
- Concessions are available on Boston Harbor City Cruises for snacks and beverages. Concessions on Georges Island are not open on Mondays, so please bring your own lunch and snacks.
- Pets are not allowed in the park.
